Can't sleep..

I'm stopping out to Kent Lake tomorrow.. goin to try my luck from shore with my ol' fishing buddy. From what I've read, it's Earth Day and the metro parks are not charging for park enty fee/boat launch fee. We don't have the boat yet so we are going to fish from shore but for some reason I am super excited...
The weather today and tomorrow is going to be beautiful! 75, sunny, SW winds 5-10mph!
You guys better get out and catch some fish!

I just got home a little while ago.. didn't get squat except for a little smallie and they aren't even in season :-\
Lots of minnows/tiny bluegill by shore but couldn't seem to find any bigger ones or crappies.. Although I fished from shore so if you have a boat your luck may be different. Also I don't know the lake very well so that could be some of it too ;)

That was my first trip out to Kensington and I was so surprized to see how nice it was..
lots of people though.. I don't know how many times we got asked "catch anything?"
