At this point no matter what happens Saturday, I would rather have Ozzi in net for game 6 in Calgary. He's been very good on the road and had some big games in Nashville where their crowd is rather loud also.

What "Top Notch" goalie you thinking of getting? The several I consider Top Notch ain't going anywhere.

I think their roster is pretty mediocre.

The Wings are supposed to be rebuilding right now, though we've been blessed with having a top-seeded team. This season they weren't supposed to be a powerhouse, and I don't think anyone planned on them being so next year either. Either Hasek stays, which I'm hoping for, or they sign a capable goalie for one year, forget about a star goalie, it's not going to happen. Howard will be ready in two years, and he shouldn't be sitting as a backup for years. The Wings can't afford to make much of a splash considering Datsyuk's contract just went up about $3 million, and Kronwall got a big raise.

Though one of the San Jose goalies might be available, and Giguere will be a UFA if Anaheim doesn't re-sign him.

Dom has always done some strange things his whole carreer, but none the less Dom is a great goalie, i'd be ok with him back for one more year.

If my $ was riding on these games and we could have Legace,ozzy,Cujo or Hasek, it'd be Hasek all the way.

I wouldn't exactly hit the panic button yet,,, I wouldn't even hit it, if they lose on Sat. Does anyone know what Detroit's record is on matinee playoff games??? I know they lost one to Colorado in '96 but other than that,,, I think their record is really good. I don't expect them to lose on Sat.,, although,, I didn't expect them to lose any of these games period.
