Why do we have a Lions sub-forum when we already have a Comedy forum?

Because here we can discuss QLM (Quality Lions Management).......Catch and Release (either the ball or players), and other such topical topics involving the Lions on a more serious note.

Well, when it comes to QLM, there won't be much arguing going on in here. To bring up one of my fave quotes, from Old Tampa Bay coach Ray Perkins, I believe it was:
Media after a game: "What do you think of the execution of your team right now?"
Answer from Coach: "I'm all for it."

The words "quality" and "Loins Management" should never be used in the same sentence. Now give yourself a strike.

I agree! I will not be giving me a "strike" however.
Catch and Release: What the Lions have done all too often with some quality that they've obtained......not Joey H.....
Catch and Release: What too many Lions receivers do on a pass route.
Well, speaking of quality players, and no one was, just who should they draft with that 2nd pick should they keep it. I'm thinking a quality QB, Russell if he's available, or Quinn. Considering it takes a couple of years for any QB to get used the NFL, that would be fitting. We already know they will use Kitna, so that gives whomever time to figure things out. Hopefully.

Heads you win, tails we lose! Most likely scenario.
In any case, If they can not get proper value for the second pick they take Johnson or Russel... period!
If I had my choice I'd like to see them trade with Atlanta at number 9 and pick up Atlanta's TWO second round picks.
At number nine I couldn't pass up Amobi Akoye at DT. He is a freakin mental genius who graduated high school early and STARTED in college at age 16!!!
To me, I would add him as the number three FREAk in the draft. Calvin Johnson #1 freak, Jamarcus Russell #2 freak, and yep, Akoye at #3. Patrick Willis comes close, but I think Lehman is going to provide significant playing time in the middle this year.
Second Round a: I'm going starting corner- Marcus McCauly if he is there
Second Round b: Lamar Woodly De from Michigan
Second Round C: The middle line backer from UofM as well.. David Harris
Round 3: Ding Ding Ding! Drew Stanton from Michigan State
Round 4: Aarom Rouse, Safety V.Tech
Rounds 5-7 another corner and some depth at O-line

I think this should be the welcome forum to the site. That way when people enter the site they know where to wipe their feet.
