The who's your Tiger thread got me thinking--who's your Lion? My vote goes to Dutch McFoogle, the mentally challenged adult, who does the Lions' laundry part time. Sure, it's not like he has much to do since those uniforms never get a good workout, but someone has to do the job!

My point? The Lions need to draft WR Calvin Johnson because...THEY DON'T HAVE ONE SINGLE PLAYER THAT'S WORTH HAVING ANY STAR APPEAL!!!!!

What about Roy Williams. I think he came on much better as the year progressed last year.

I though his name was Matt Millen.

Alex Karras.

The first one on the current roster to freight train Bill Ford will be my hero for the rest of my days.

I'm fond of the guy who sings the fight song. Too bad we don't hear him more often.

Visiting Team: 38

Lions: 3

1:07 left in the fourth quarter and the Lions score a touchdown.

"Down the field and gain...a Lion victory! Goooo Lions!"

Sometimes you just gotta know when to leave the microphone down...

Calvin (clap, clap) Johnson (clap, clap) Of course, Millen will screw this one up and not take him!

Jason Hanson. He's the only one who can score points.

You guys are missing it. The most overused, underappreciated player in the game is...

Nick Harris

He averaged 45 yards per punt last year, his long was 67, and he didn't allow one block. He's one of the few Detroit Lions players that has consistently been involved in nearly every offensive ball possession!:yikes: The only time they don't allow him to play is when they fumble or throw an interception.

Barry Sanders - no explanation needed. After that, Bobby Laine. I have not been a Lions fan, ever. There was always a better team to root for, in my
46 years of life.

Another vote for Hanson, our leader scorer. He's the second guy I feel could've really done something beside Barry.

Simba is my favorite lion. Mufasa wasn't too bad, either. Couldn't stand Scar, though ;)

Past Lions don't count! I mean, right now--if the answer is Jason Hanson, then the Lions need a playmaker!!!! Calvin Johnson. I know I'm setting myself up for a major stroke come draft day, but a fan has to dream...

I would have guessed that they consulted with you when setting it up.
Least they could do is make you like a Super Moderator of the loins threads....Kind of like the Matt Millen of MS Forums... No one else has your qualifications Matt, er ah, Joe

Well, after this years draft, maybe CJ will be my favorite Lion...nobody else on the current roster has been either good enough, or with them long enough to earn that title in my opinion...the last guy I called "my guy" would be Robert Porcher. Class guy who gave everything he had and was very professional when riding the pine (got screwed there, but took it like a pro). Should have been Barry, but the way he screwed the organization, well, I didn't think it could have been worse, but he made it worse the way he left.

Cheers to 07', looking forward to improving from shi**y to mediocre. :dizzy:
Same every year for me - get my hopes up in training camp...
