Expect to see 25-40+ boats trolling around Muskegon pierheads on nice and weekend nights this time of year. Most everyone is gunning for the same spot which can get ugly, some people are rude, everyone is yelling at eachother, and plenty use their gas motors which spooks the fish. I gave up fishing there by boat years ago as there are plenty of other locations to fish.
I do imagine they are getting some fish by now.

It's just tough fishing in that. It's dark, some boats are not properly lit, some guys stop to cast or fight a fish in the middle of the pack anchored or drifting, everyone trolling in different directions at different speeds, running with 4 or 6 boards with the red blinking lights.:dizzy: It can and does get ugly, even away from the pack. Tough crowd too.
It looks like a small city at times. Not my bag is all, and now he knows what to expect, thats my report.

The coasties were nailing people for not being properly lit among other things last night by the looks of things...
