Bolles Harbor Help

I'm looking at fishing out of Bolles this Friday.

Never been there and never done that.

Probably drift and jig with blade baits or troll with Rapala HJs.

I've heard that 3 to 4 miles out in 16 fow was good but which way from the launch? South? East? SE?

Need to get pointed in the right direction.

Brian,

It probably goes without saying. Make sure you stay in the channel when you leave and return to the harbor. The water is shallow in many places outside the channel.

Thanks Sabiki. With those charts, I should be able to find my way from the launch.

So, after I clear that last buoy, any other suggested directions? ;)

try to find the dumping grounds....Thats where the fish were saturday. If you go south west out of bolles you should find yourself very close to them. There should be a couple packs of boats out there so just watch them and if they are catching fish join up with them.

3.5 to 4 Miles SE will put you on the dumping ground. Stay at the same heading out of the channel and you will be there.
