I have absolutely no idea. I was against signing him from the beginning. We bring him in to get through some garbage innings for us and he can't even do that. We had to use Zumaya and Rodney tonight because of him. Now Zumaya won't be available for tomorrows game.

It's early. Tigers no longer tip their hands about injuries. I don't think he's 100% right now.
THis maybe just like Jones last year. There were alot of people starting threads and saying the same thing about him around this time last year. I don't see those threads now and hopefully the same thing will result with Mesa. Rodney has not looked to good except for last night I don't here much concern there? Is it because of what he did last year? If so then there shouldn't be too much worry with Mesa either.
I'm not to concerned about anything with Tigers. I bought the MLB package and have watched every game and they look good. Real good...even if the bats have not been real hot. They are getting some walks and it's helping them win some games that have had very few hits or fewer hits than runs!
Side note Shelton is doing good again down in the minors. Zach Minor is truggling something fierce. He's pitched 3 games and has an E.R.A. over 12. There is a rookie pitcher in Toledo his name should remind you of a great Tiger releiver......Aquilino Lopez. He's from the Dominican Republic not Mexico and he's lighting it up.
The two biggest prospects, Andrew Miller & Camron Maybin, are off to great starts. Miller has thrown two complete games out of three starts!!!!!!! His ERA is under 2 and has only given up 3 walks! Maybin is has three home runs already stolen bases out of 5 attmepts. OBP .432, SLG .571, & BA .286. He hasw 8 walks but 16 strike outs. So he looks like he's doing great but would like to see less strike outs.
We are in real good shape for years to come.:D

Mesa, Rodney, Grilli, and Perez all have to go. Frankly, whenever our middle-relief gets time on the mound, I close my eyes. If Inge didn't have such a good corner play, I'd consider sending him also.
Thank goodness the Royals' pitching was worse last night. I think we nearly saw their entire staff in one night.
