Platte River

Has anyone fished the Platte lately? I was planning to give it a go tommorrow if possible. May even try the surf off the mouth, plan to use crawlers blown up with air, ever try that before, it works!!

In the Platte? Never heard of that before. I'm sure they would get up there, but never heard of anyone fishing for them in the Platte River on purpous before. What I'd really like to know is where do these walleys go after they spawn in the rivers. there must be a place in Lk. michigan that they can be caught, but as far as I know no one has ever found them, or least never told.
