I have not had a chance to watch him pitch this year, but he is stinkin it up!!! Hopefully he snaps out of it! Judging by the boxscore of tonights game, it must have been quite the pitching duel! (until Rodney trotted out of the pen)

I have to listen on my XM, but Bonderman and Halladay both pitched absolute gems. (This is the 2nd time this year Bonderman has had to pitch versus Halladay)

Rodney got in and gave up 3 consecutive infield hits. The first on a dribbler down the 3rd base line, the next two on bunts that it sounds like he didn't field well. The guy has amazing stuff, but he sure seems to give up more runs than you'd expect for a guy in the high 90's. I'm not sure if he telegraphs his pitches or what.

You got to credit the Jays batters, the 2 bunts were text book. Yes Rodney looked like a little leaguer on the 1st one and had he got that out the 2nd one might not have took place. But with runners at 1st & 2nd and no outs, why not bunt again and have a man on third with less than 2 out.
1st one should have been an out, 2nd one forced Inge to cover the bag on the lead runner and by the time Rodney got it he had no play, again the bunts were well placed to move the runners up. The real sad thing is Bondo pitched his tail off for 9 innings and got no offensive help, we had chances.

Toronto also had their 2 fastest players on 1st and 2nd when the second bunt took place. Even if Inge would have been on 3rd, there would not have been a play to make. like stated before...perfectly placed bunts. the thing that bothered me most is that Leland went to the mound before the first bunt, told them exactly what, when and where and they still screwed it up. looked like the World Series debacle again!!!:fish:
