WEEZER

I just got home from the Big Man. The river is way up and tinted! I fished from first light til 1:00 @ Tippy and from 1:30 TIL 2:30 In another location.
I didn't hook a thing @ Tippy(One of my buddies went 0 for 1).
HERES THE GOOD NEWS:
a select few, 4 to 5 guys did EXTREMELY WELL.
(Were talking "fish on" every 5 to 10 minutes all morning long, And they were landing a good portion of them!!)
We then went to another location on the Big M. and I went 1 for 2. the one I landed hit a tiny spawn sack. It was a large Buck 29-31 and around 9 or 10 pounds. (I got a few snapshots and let him go.)
Water Temp: 35 degrees @ Tippy....

WEEZER, thanks for the great post. You must have been almost too tired to type by the end of a day like that. Too bad you couldn't figure out what the guys who were really into the fish were doing different. Post that picture when and if you get the chance.

Yeah I was really tired but I'm pretty used to doing crazy things to get some steel!
You should see me during Salmon time! I leave work at 9:30pm head to Tippy, fish til the sun gets up and then head for home.(YUP I'm an addict!!!)
I really hope those pictures turn out because my buddy that took them kept on saying that he didn't hear the camera click!
I'm pretty sure he was kidding with me.
The reason why those guys were getting most of the fish had everything to do with their location. The fish were holding in the first 8 to 10 yards below the culfer waiting for the current to go down, I think. Anyway most of the fish were being caught on the Brethern side.

Weezer, you're the man. I have spent several days like that, fish from dawn to dark, and beyond. Especially in the fall, I will fish like crazy. If you ever want an experience, I'll take you to the opener for the lower Platte river in the fall. It can be a lot of fun, and a long nite. I'll give you shout this afternoon when I have a little, I know, I know, you were wondering if I really worked; not if I can get away with it.
