I'm predicting 4-12 this year.................hey thats better than last year.
Joe Archer

I will watch them all if they are televised. I would say only God knows what the Lions will do this year, but most likely he is scratching his head as well!
I think there are enough changes on the offensive line, and defensive changes to not really know what this team will be like. 4 and 12 wouldn't surprise me any more than 10 and 6. I think they still need to add depth on the defensive line, corner and line backer. If they can drop to 10 and take Patrick Willis to start in the middle, and Redding and Rogers.... Dang! I better stop! It is not corn bread Friday yet!

They got those fools playing the wrong teams. Why not send them to places like New Lothrup, , Eton Rapids, Allegan, Newago. Then they would be a lot more evenly matched and might even win a couple close ones.

I stick by my 0-16 prediction. Maybe I'll get surprised this year.

I don't see many wins in that schedule at all! I see wins against Oakland and Tampa Bay, but after that, there are no other easy matchups. We stank. Fire Millen!

10-6!!!!???? 10-6!!!!?????
I just had a choking coughing spell! Are you for real? Bro, my man, put down the booze. Seriously. Look at the schedule again. Broncos, Chiefs, Chargers. We're gonna get smacked. Whatta we got? Nuthin. Jon (4th quarter turnover machine) Kitna behind a patchwork O-line of fat bums with bad knees. It was bad enough last year seeing Kitna as a regular weekly contestant on JACKED UP! This year, the man might not survive. Mckown might be getting the nod by week 4 after Jon suffers a collapsed spine. I don't think any of them wanna stand behind that line anyway. Jeff "False Start-76 offense" Backus is usually laying down the opposing DE's welcome mat.

Relax fella's. You got to remember that TC has a great sence of humor!
He's just joking with you. No one in his right mind would pick the loins to go 10-6. Except for Joe Archer, but he's such a big loins fan that i question
if he's in the "right mind":dizzy:
Heard on 1270 WXYT that Mclown, Mike Williams and C Redding are not at the mini camp thats going on. Both Mike "Fat Man" Williams and the Clown are asking to be traded or released. Redding just dosent want to play in Detroit.

I always have high hopes until the first five minutes of the first pre-season game, then reality slaps me upside the head and I start weeping uncontrollably at the sad fact that I'm a life-long Lions fan.
@#$% the Bronco's, Chiefs and Chargers--they're going DOWN.
Hope springs eternal.
I am still a Lions fan. I can't help it, I was born that way. It's Bill Ford I can't stand.

A Tough schedule for a very weak team. To top off the year, they have to play in Green Bay on December 30th. Favre is already planning on the final win of his career in the jersey of cheese.

I see 4 "possible" wins in that schedule.
Oakland
Tampa Bay
Arizona
and a one against Green Bay

Yep, I am a Lions fan and a football fan. Like I said, I have no expectations. Games that they really do have a chance at winning by Team (last years record); Oakland (2:14), Minnesota (6:10), Washington (5:11), Tampa (4:12), Arizona (5:11), Green Bay at Ford Field (8:8), (New York Giants (8:8). The 8:8 and teams the Lions play at Ford Field. All the other teams had records right in line with the Lions. I think 8 and 8 isn;t beyond the realm of possibilities fortunately for them 3 of the first 5 teams they play at the start of the year had losing records. Add to that the fact that historically teams that institute the Tampa 2 make their greatest strides from year one - year two...
Mmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm cornbread! I love Fridays!

There going down alright. Down to the nearest bar and have a drink after the kick the Lions butt. I wonder if they will work up a sweat beating the heck out of Bill Fords team:lol: NAH they wouldn't even have to take a shower after the game:lol:

Every year we take a trip to another stadium to watch the Lions on the road(another die hard fan here) and this year I was excited to see Washington on the road schedule. I look forward to every season and always have that little bit of hope that the Lions can turn it around. I guess im just optimistic. F@#k Mr. Ford and Mr. Millen. They need to go. Sell the team already.

I did hear its in a pretty rough area of D.C. but then look at were Ford Field is located and its surroundings. I would think it couldnt be much worse.
Jason Hanson 3 field goals. Funny you mention this. About four or five years ago we went to Chicago and Jason kicked 3 field goals. That were there only scores of the game. The wind was kicking something feirce that game also. They lost by a field goal that game I believe and went on to 0-12.
