Muskegon River Advice?

Been trying new rivers the past year, and this weekend we are going to the Muskegon River for some steelheads. Never been out for Steelhead nor on the Muskegon, just looking for some advice. Anyone been out with luck? what do you use? THanks!

Should have posted this in the RIVERS section as you would probably get more responses.

Depends if your in a boat or walking.........can't beat bouncing spawn although if your in a boat then the skys the limit. Drop back plugs etc. from a boat works also.................
