Fished mainstream flies only section, guides rest, water temp 48 f., saw many caddis dotting the water but no fish rising, also a few BWO's and just a couple of Hendrickson's. I watched caddis float 5 to 8 feet, with not one rise from a trout, very fustrating!!!!! I did see small black birds with white spots on there wings flying , very acrobatic flying skills, feeding on the caddis about 5 feet from the water surface. Caught one small brown on a wollybugger.
