Fished 2 years with an outfitter out of Gogama in the late 90's.Name of camp slips me(Roy and June Bennet) however,I know the best lake is now the property of a different outfitter.Nursey Lake was absolutely non-stop pike, pickerel and perch. This was a fly-in but a road was going in at the time.I've been on 7 fly-ins,all bigger lakes but none were as much fun.Beautiful area full of bear and moose.Good luck.
I think your talking about Kenda Wilderness Lodge. Roy and June are memorable characters. We stayed at the lodge in one of the cabins on the American Plan. The lodge is located on a chain of lakes connected by a small navigable river. Excellent accomodations, service and the meals were outstanding. Fishing was for walleyes, pike, smallmouth and lake trout. You could walk into some lakes stocked with trout. They also had day fly-in trips you could go on if you wanted. Fishing wasn't the best and running the rivers to get to the other lakes was a little bit of a pain but the service and the meals more then made up for it. As Jigger mentioned they also have the fly-in camps but we never did those.

Hey Blue you are right. It was Camp Kendra. We did 2 fly-ins(great)and 1 boat-in up the river as you speak.I think it was Lake Mesomikendra. The fly-ins were fall, and the boat-in was spring. The spring fishing in Sarnia/Port Huron area is better.......fall...that's another story.
