I am working on tuning up my Force 150 outboard and am wondering if there is anyone on here around the Ionia area that knows how to tune them up. I tune up my cars all the time but these outboards just seem a little different. Or maybe you can give me some suggestions? Reading the manual last night I was checking my throttle position. Well I put the lever in full throttle position but my butterfly valves were only opened about 1/8" instead of wide open horizontal. I was making my adjustments and just can't get the valves open and do not have any more room to adjust. Does the motor need to be running for this adjustment or what? I have everything else about taken care of but just can't get past this hurdle. HELP!!:dizzy:
