was wondering what the water conditions are at croton...was planning on takeing the jet boat up tomorrow..any info would be great so i dont waste my gas driving up there and its all blown out

I was up on Sunday afternoon. A lot of boat and drifty traffic with folks looking for a place to fish. The water was really muddy after Saturday nights rain. So if you know where they like to hide you should have great success. If you don't, enjoy the boat ride. There are a lot of fish in the river, we had a great afternoon. The guage shows the river is again rising as we speak, there are still 3 gates open at Croton, so I don't imagine the MO is very clear. You will need to throw big and ugly to get'em.

Not too mention that the flow on the Little Muskegon spiked way up, which means more mud and dirty water to the mix.
