Any ideas where I can get into some good panfishing without the need for a boat?

While they are not panfish the Suckers are in the Clinton River full time and provide a lot of fun. Bring the kids and let them have a great time.

Metrobeach will have some good panfishing coming up in may...Fish the lake side from the beach on to the south. Get yourself a pair of waders and go for a stroll.
Slip bobers work great at this time of the year too, as long as the lake isn't messed up. I like to fish one slip bob and chuck hardware w/ the other.
The point there is worth checking out too...Particularly if you are fishing the evening bite.....when the walleye are in ;)

Stoney creek metropark is alright, lots of wildlife around there too, almost always see deer and turkey
