Fur sale at clare

This is our lot of rats we took to the fur sale on Saturday. We ended up holding our fur and gonna ship and see what happens. We had a great time and was well worth the trip. Took about 200 rats to the auction, my first season trapping and was pretty happy. We ended up keeping a bunch of pelts for ourselves, my son wants a hat, my partner is getting a hat made and a muff for his wife. I think next year will be even better!

We had a great time yesterday. My lil man was really excited and he got a grin out of all the different furs. Can't wait for the next auction or meet.

saw that picture and thought it looked familiar,I talked to you as you and the little man were getting your fur around. glad you had a good time. I was the old fart in the yankees hat. that was a nice bunch of rats you had,sorry you didnt get your price. I stayed a while. the best group of rats I saw sold brough 5.50 or so.they didnt look near as nice as yours. hope you do well in canada.

funny to see and hear of guys passing on selling rats holding out for more $, I guess most of them were not around when $3 was a good amount for rats...
