got my new all species licence tonight at 9pm at walmart 28.00...here's the kicker he said at 11pm they were going up 52.00!!was going to warn everyone but just got to my computer. so have fun paying for the new ones!!better get all your stuff now for everything goes up!

This is the third time I heard that rumor...in the past two months. About hunting licenses. also, they aren't going to double immediately. The new prices are a goal, that will be reached after a few years of smaller increases

April fools or not,... I purchased ALL of my 2007 licenses on March 1st. :D ,.. while the prices were still at the usual rates. ;)

I'm gonna give you a job because I'm already too busy keeping track of the number of times that famous "cougar on the deck looking through the glass door panel that was taken in Michigan" photo shows up on the boards. Here's your mission..................You keep track of the number of times some member comes in here claiming that a clerk in (enter any commercial outlet that is a license dealer...Walmart, K-Mart, Meijer's or Joe's Bait and Gun Emoprium....told him the license fee increase will take place "today"..."tommorw"...or sometime anywhere near the foreseeable future.

I wouldn't trust someone from Walmart on anything outdoors related...FWIW

The rumor mill has really been running rampant on this one. I had an associate at work mention the same thing to me the other day. She has a charter fishing trip planned with her hubby in a few months and was told she better buy her liscense now before it went way up by some idiot.
