Netscape 4.7X

Anybody having trouble reading the forums with this version of browser? Getting script errors? Let me know.

Come on somebody else must be using Netscape 4.7X out there. I know Yodas is. Are you getting script errors on the forums?

yeah steve i use 4.7 dont know bout the X....the only prob that i have is sometimes i have to stop the page loading and reload it to get to the page. Do ya have any advice to fix this.

Don't know what would cause that but you are doing the right thing as a work around.

When my Java is turned on the browser often stops before the page is loaded. It takes forever to load a page when it does complete. I just turn the java off and it seems to load just fine and doesn't take too long to load.

I have the same prob. What does Java Script do anyway? I will look to turn it off. At 8pm tonight I couldn't get on The MS for 10 min. I kept getting an error that said the server may be down.

Maybe the server was down. Javascript enabled helps with a lot of things including remembering your name and password and keeping track of what you have read and what you have not read. My advice for best performance with our site is to go to MS IE 5.5.
