raccoon trapping

Hey, I'm new to trapping and i was looking for some tips to get me going. I want to get some opossums out of the area as well as coons, any suggestions on location and bait for a live trap? PS. i live by a pond and the area around it is very wet and is surrounded by woods.

tunafish would be good bait.Anywhere around the pond would be a good place to set

cat food,table scraps, jelly, where do you live?

Marshmallows work really well to for racoon's to. if you fish you can use the all of the scrap's from what you have left over from after you get done with the fillet good luck with your trapping
