A heck of a lot of work coupled with a heck of a fox population for sure. I don't know what kind of a career he has but he's not working it while trapping fox that's for sure!
I've got a daughter that lives in PA as does this fella and one that lives in MD . I've spent some time in both states during the past 15 years and I can honestly say that both have fox country that'll make a MI fox trapper's mouth water! I quickly found that it does'nt take much hiking while visiting those two states to see they've got tons of fox comparatively speaking.

That is quite the pic of one season.Looks like alot of hard work.Just hope the local population of Fox can support such a harvest.Should leave some seed for seasons to come.

Not photoshopped, not a fur buyer. Phil is just a good ole hard working trapper. Trappers name is Phil Brown from PA. Phil has done close to these numbers for many years he has the population to work with.

Phil must be a very tired boy after running that hard for 90 days. Imagine running 103 traps a day and then putting up all that fur. Looks like he averages about 1 fox for every 7.5 sets a very good average. The best average I ever had for a year of fox trapping was 1 for every 12 traps checked.
Now what I find more amazing is that he only caught 147 coon, possum and skunks for the whole year. The only type or territory I can imagine him trapping with that many fox and so few bonus critters is pasture land and hay fields. Wonder how long before the yotes take over and ruin his line.

Soggy, as some of the others had indicated, this guy does this year after year. It isn't his first year and after doing it for many years and he still gets results like this, is indicative that he's not depleting the resource. He still threw 6 or so away for mange, which is usually mother nature's way of reducing the population.

This guy needs to write a book. He definately has the inside track on the "How-to" of fox trapping. FRANK.

Judging by the harvest I'd say the whole state
The specific area he lives in isn't available, that I know of.
