I thought about putting in the flat-bottom this weekend for some jumbo's. Does anyone know if I can get out at gino's? if not, any other area recomendations? Should be a beautifull weekend for fishing.

Thanks

Uhhhhh, did I miss something? I know I'm not well versed in perch fishing, but I think I'm missing the joke:dizzy:  . Shall I imply that this area is not worth the time and or effort right now? WAAAAAAAA why is everyone laughing at me:lol: ?

If you can get in at Brandenberg and fish the immediate area you may get lucky!!!

I have never done well at B-burg..... on the other hand I may not be a very good fisherman:lol: . I will take any suggestions you all have and try them out. Anything would be better than my icefishing season. I appreciate it...keep it coming;) .

Drove by Crocker yesterday. It's all wide open, but no docks yet. The water looked pretty muddy from this week's blows. You might find a color line out deep?

You won't need docks at Crocker...Just use the debris field that should be there any time now!!!
If I remember I think there was an entire dock there last year that someone lost in the Clinton River!!! And a picnic table!!!

I saw a couple of boat trailers at the Crocker ramp today as was driving by. Water was calm. I did not go close to see the debris field. I hope they will post and let us know how they did.

I remember one year recently that a full size dumpster came floating up there.
Apparently got washed away with the high waters from all the spring rain that year.
There is usually a lot of junk, mud, silt and whatever else gets washed up to the ramp, they will have to clean that up before putting in the docks.
Because of the location of the ramp and currents and wave action it happens every year.
