Always wanted to know how old a game bird is a turkey, duck and rooster do you tell by the spurs, tail curls or the size of them. for example I shoot a turkey with a 10.5 inch beard 20+ pounds and only had 3/4 inch spurs, another shot a rooster with 39 bars and a big bird had 5/8 inch spurs. I shot a duck with 4 curls big bird but this year I shoot a duck that was bigger and had 2 curls Just wondering if anyones has any input thanks
