They still ain't jumping the gun;) , at least not like that guy who had his picture up on this website about 10 days ago as he was getting his feet wet trying to learn how to wireline in the Sturgeon Hole??

Now that guy was jumping the gun if anyone was. The pictures even had mounds of ice in the background!!!

It must be about that time. I walked in my garage the other day and the boat yawned like it was just waking up from hibernation. Got the new aerator installed, new handling reel mounts installed (bye-bye 2X4 across the bow), trolling motor is on and she is ready to go. Plus, I am getting about 20 emails a day from ZFubar20 reminding me that we are very close. Might wait one more week… April 1st sounds like a good maiden voyage date to me. Good luck to all that head out this weekend.

took the boat out to Belleville lake last night for a quick spin and make sure all systems are GO..and we are at this point ready to fish. I might make it out sunday night after everything calms down here with the kids going home Sunday night after a weekend visit..I'm in the water at Wyandotte launch at 7pm for some good times..Springer4ever..you ready?
