Great job! You have a few perch dinners to last all spring. Why is the guy in the red hat squinting? Camera flash? Maybe something else!

No i wasnt stoned or under the influence of anything but a good perch bite high. What a blast. the ice is very very very unstable now. if you go out there you will probably fall through tomorrow. if you had a small flatbottom boat you could walk with that but that is the only way i would do it. im not going on it anymore im done

Smart move with the ice awls around your neck. I'm going to get a set up like that. When you have them in your pocket you get poked and holes in your pockets all the time. Again nice load of fish!!:)

:yikes: Can't believe there is still ice out there. However, you did go at the best time, right at last ice and ice out is the best time to hit that spot. Some of those perch look huge, any specific measurements??? Looks like at least a couple 12+. Ginos??? Ginos is great if you like the small 7-9 inchers, those perch can eat the perch i was catching at Ginos

I was fishing right next to people on the ice sunday. Lots of ice in those bays still. All the rain should clear most of it out.

I was thinking of getting the boat out there this weekend, but it looks like I won't be able to get close to the dike unless the rain changed things last night. How are the other perch spots looking down there? forzen still, or can I get the boat into them.

Real lucky to have all these fishing options so close. We all feel very fortunate to be spoiled by the big water.
