Does anyone have Slingsticks? I see the commercials all the time during the hunting shows and they look like they would work......Mack

I've played with them and declined buying them. Great concept but extremely loud when you "pull the sticks out".

Those things make me laugh every time I see them ..... clumsy, noisy, etc etc. Maybe if you had a couple of minutes to get them set up before making a shot, but then you might as well use something more stable. And no, I won't be spending $60 or whatever they cost.

I thought they looked like a good idea so I went ahead and got a set last fall.
To make a long story short, I never installed them after playing around with them for awhile.
The attachment straps are flimsy and there's no doubt that they would be a real pain if trying to deploy them in a hurry. IMO I'm better off without them.
If you were to be set up in a portable blind with a single shooting direction I suppose they'd be ok but other than that I'm not impressed and forget about using them in a tree stand like their commercial shows-----you better be a good juggler.
