Used up all my remington v-max... thinking about getting the accutip -v boatail in 22-250...

Just bought 5500 50 Vmax in a group buy on another site... so I will be shooting them for awhile in my 223AI:lol: . I use the 75 Amax in my 22-250.

If you don't load stick with what was working. If you do load I throw a 52gr Starke out of my 22-250 but 50gr Vmax groups about the same, my 52gr load is ~100fps faster. One Swift likes 50gr Barnes Varmin-A-Tors, the other 57gr Calhoon DHP. Hornet does well with 40gr Bergers. Plenty of good bullets on the market just need to find the one (among other variables) that works best out of a specific gun.

I just picked up a box of accu-tip 50 gr.-v boattail....




I had a paper plate tacked on a piece of card board set at 140 yards..


Hit the tack and the paper plate fell...I think I'll keep these accu-tip-v:lol:
