Here's a pic of the newest addition to our family. Elvis. :) ( Cause he ain't nuttin but a hound dog )
He's a 5 month old Basset Hound. Great pup ! Full of playfull energy.
I heard a muffled barking the other day and turned to look. Elvis had is head stuck in my kneehigh hunting boot and couldn't get it out. LMAO
He also has a bad habit of sneaking up behind ya , grabbing your pantleg and pulling down your sweat pants....But,
We love'em......lol :)
Now if I can just get our 17 year old Chihuahua, Squeaker, to feel the same way. lol

Ya, this guy is NOT impressed at all. Elvis is the first house dog that we've had since we got Squeaker 17 years ago.
The little sob has been crapping in my shoe every chance he gets since our new addition.

Tom
Thanks for posting the pic. He looks a lot like his mom and sister, can't beleive how broad his chest is. Then again he was the biggest pup of the litter. If he has half the energy his sister has I feel for ya.

He's getting huge ! Pushing at least 35 lbs now. His chest is amazing. He's very broad shouldered. Very defined. Minds good too. Very smart dog. I'm really happy with him. :) He sure loves the peoples, that's for sure. He's a chick magnet too.........lol If I knew all the attention he'd get from the ladies, I'd of had 2 of'em when I was single. ;)
And yes, that little turd has crapped in my shoe at least 4 times since my last post. Man, he's so lucky that I'd be divorced if he had an " accident ".
He' had the guts to walk right by me the other day, looks me square in the eye, cocks his leg, and pee'd on my Raven Wear vest. I started cussing, and peeled out after him, he took off and ran under our bed. We have a log bed and it's very heavy and he know's I can't get after him under there. Of course the wife comes burn'in in the room to see what all the comotion is about and out he waddles, cocky as hell right into the saftey of Momma's arms and just glares at me. His day is comming..............
Joel, just say the word ! :) I'm game.
And yes again, he's still a turd burgler, but not as bad as he was. I switched foods to Pedigrie and he seems to be doing better. yuk...........

he looks alot like my Flash. She's 3 years old and 45lbs. She's pretty darn smart too. She's not a hunting partner but doesn't all kinds of tricks for my entertainment.

I dunno Tom, if it were me, I'd be keeping that cute Basset and taking the little shoe crapper to the pound!!!!  I've never heard of anyone having behavior problems with Bassets, but those darn Chiuauwa's, my friend's jumped up on me and caught my leg with his teeth on the way down. I calmly told him, Tom, either you come get this dog and place him away from me or I'm crushing his tiny little leg biting head with my boot!!!!
Cute Basset!!!!

Love the looks of those Bassets. I have always heard how hard headed they are and difficult to train. Glad to hear yours minds well.
The yip dog has to go. You were given plenty of good suggestions in a previous thread. I would "mark" that dog if you know what I mean. He would probably get the drift.
