Started around 4:00 about 50 yds out, just left of the jet ski ramp. Didn't have much action, but subbornness got the best of me and I stuck around for too long. Finally made a move about 6:00 straight in to 20 yds off shore... about 2.5 FOW. Non-stop action between then and dark, but not much to show for it. 7 keepers, uncountable dinks. Probably should have moved again to find the quality fish, but oh well. I'm still learning.
There was about 12" of ice, but it was (I believe) honeycombed. Augered it out REAL easy.
That's likely it for the year for me folks. Thanks for all the info in getting a new guy started. Now I have to figure out how to get the :fish: from shore!
