i have only started hardwarter fishing about 3 years ago i have 2 kids under 9 and they like going out with me so i was would like to know if there is any good spots with safe ice thankx.:)

It's March. There's no such thing as safe ice. Maybe by yourself but not trying to keep an eye on two kids.

You might try Fairhaven, ice is 12inches + , Try off the DNR ramp lots of small perch but kids would get a thrill catching them anyways. Good luck Rick :fish:

yea what mike said after today i wouldn let any kids out there they like to wander around the ice was soft yesterday old holes are now big holes
