buck pole pictures

Hey is anyone having trouble seeing more than 2 pictures at a time? Just wondering

No problems here. You should only see one picture at a time. Scroll down and hit the next button to see the next picture. You pictures are up there :) Moving this to forum/website problems.

It's true if you click on next picture it stays on the same one it will not go to the next one

I can't re-create the problem. What browser are you guys that are having problems using?

I am using internet explorer and I can not see the pictures. It gets stuck on the second picture!! Help steve!!!

What version of IE? I use version 5.X and have no problems.

Also are you guys sure you don't have some sort of security restrictions enabled on your browser that prevents scripts from running, etc?

I don't know I can only see 2 pictures and then it won't show anymore.

Is it always the same two pictures that you see, or do you see a different set of 2 pictures and then get stuck each time. Is there one particular picture that it seems to get stuck on? Can anybody else that is experiencing this problem give me some technical description of what is going on?

Steve, I tried to simulate this turning off various security features but can't make happen the way it is being described, EXCEPT if the images are just slow-loading due to any number of things including their ISP traffic, your server traffic, their modem, their clogged up virtual memory etc.
I have had times when the image seems to get "stuck", but hitting either "Reload" or "Back" allows the image to restore or at least to continue from the previous image.
Otherwise I am stumped.

Steve- i can see 2 pictures and then get off line and come back later and see 2 different ones after 30 min. or so. I can't just keep getting to see next pictures when I push that. It will show me a picture then I push next picture and it will show that one but then when I push next picture the same picture comes on.

Amos thanks for looking at this as well. I am stumped as well. I can't even get them to stall on my machine. At times it will skip over a few images and you won't get to see them all sequentially because we are using only one counter to keep track of what image you are currently at in the sequence, so if there are many people looking at the pole this number can jump around quite rapidly as you can imagine. Other than that I cannot create any such problem. Could be an IE 4.0 thing, and I can't really go back and install that browser. Or it could be like you say a small browser cache. Hmmm, maybe I need to put a refresh meta tag in the page, I'll try that.

BigMac, try hitting the refresh button on your browser instead of the NEXT button on the buck pole screen and see if that get's ya anywhere.
