For those that use launchers, what brand do you use and are they remote launchers? Why do you like them or hate them?

I have 4 or 5 manual launchers. Not sure of the brand but just the standard green steel boxs. I got them at K-9 at 13 1/2 and Mound. I want to get a few remote launchers but I to am unsure of the brand that is best. I have seen small remote actuators that you can add to the manuals but not sure I want to go that route.

I have the Dogtra remote phez. launcher. The battery gave out about the week after I bought it. Called Dogtra, they shipped a whole new unit in just two/three days. Customer service was great, no complaints whatsoever.

I have several Innotek's that have worked well for me. A nice feature is that I can run them with my e-collar transmitters so I don't need to spend the extra money for a specific transmitter.

Last fall I got rid of my 4 Innotek's. I had them for 3 or 4 seasons. I had my struggles with them, we used them a LOT. They were decent units. I did not like the split second pause when ya pushed the button. The ONE thing I did like about them was the size, they had lots of room. You can put a large Chucker or a small Hen in there. My Homers were big birds and they had plenty of room in there...
I just got a good buy on a couple used DT launchers, used 8 times. Just picked them up yesterday, have not used them as of yet. I have used some friends DT launchers and they are pretty nice units. Might try them out this afternoon...
I will be getting another Innotek remote backer though. I sold that along with the 4 launchers. I really liked the backing dummy.
When used properly they work GREAT...

I have a Dogtra am very pleased.
Had it 2 years with zero malfunctions. Got it with only one launcher but the wife happened to mention last week about her buying 2-3 more to add to it. I told her 2 would be enough. Which would give us a total of 3.
She even went as far as to call Lion Country for pricing and what info to get off them to have them work on the same remote. I copied it down and gave it to her. Waiting for her next move, I am being the nicest guy you could imagine.:D
I've had 2 Dogtra collar units for almost a couple of years now, I think Dogtra will get all my business from now on.

I use an Innotek 2 dog transmitter and run 3 launchers. Very reliable, used nearly every day, easily repaired. We release 90 % of the birds/pigeons as a correction and sometimes at 200yds with a big running dog so launchers get lots of work.
