Went to the friday afternoon, little better than thursday ended up with 7 keeper sunnies and a couple borderline perch beautiful day, except for the shad that kept stealing bait. Used waxxies and spikes. No crappie, a couple dink bluegill.:coolgleam

Things should start looking up everywhere with the warm runoff. As the lake breaks up, the perch should start running the shorelines. Did the sunnies come from the canals or the bay? A lot of golden shiners in there this time of year too. Sounds like chicken skin might have helped with the bait stealing.
