Crooked River lock in Alanson in need of repair, could stay shut until fixed
ALANSON — The Crooked River Lock at Alanson that links Crooked and Pickerel lakes to the rest of the 30-mile-long Inland Waterway route is shut down and won’t be able to open this spring without repairs, according to the Department of Natural Resources.
