Hit up my local lake again tonite. Caught 2 largemouth bass, one was huge. Took home 13 crappie/gills-mixed. Baitshops around here only have large shiners. The crappies started at about 6:30pm again. Could only get one on a minnow, everything on waxies.

Just called Midwest on Grand River in Brighton and he told me he has tons of perch minnows. FYI

Be carefull out there some fella went thru on a lake on Maltby Road. Fire rescuers said he was in the drink for an hour before kids heard him screaming for help. He claims to have fished this lake his entire life and knew it like the back of his hand.

I guess I would say never go alone and stay apart when walking. I hope he is ok and warmed up.

the guy is retarded. you can know the lake liek the back of your hand but you have no clue what the ice is like. esp. when it was 70 out today.

I seen several guys fishing yesterday Here in livingston county:yikes: I know the ice away from shore is still fairly thick, but the edges are thin to none. In a few more weeks the ice will be gone and my cannel will be teaming with fish.

This was one of the best ice fishing season i've ever had ! but now its almost time to break out the long rod and enjoy the weather:fish:
