Had an okay day this morning out a Metro. Started about 7am and fished 'till 11am. We were just off of the Jet Ski Ramp in about 2.5 FOW. Took home 11, threw back about three times that. Most on Jigging rap with a red egg.

Thanks to RyGuy525 for the use of the shanty. Hopefully he'll see this and add his results.

After Josh left the action was pretty steady for me until 3ish. Then it died for a couple hours but right before sun down at right as the sun disappeared i put a nice little string of fish together. Most fsih were 6 inches but i managed about 20 that i considered keepable. I caught a lot of fish on spikes and when the day was ending a lot on the jigging rap with a jenson egg. All and all a great day i caught 70-80 fish and had a lot more hits than that,

I ran in to MiketheElder just before i got off the ice we talked for a while and it was great to talk with him.


Glad you could make it out this morning josh i had a fun time out there with you!

Glad to hear that you finished the day strong Ry. Pics man... we need pics.

Salmonslammer, I actually left the cooler at home... found a bucket to sit on believe it or not! Cooler did a great job of posing for the pic though eh?

I'll take a shot in the morning. I have them in snow and a little water im to tired to clean them tonight i sat out there for 12 hours, im pooped!!!

That was an empty from a sale at CVS... where are you getting the tirty point buck... er... beer for $13 from?

I was the day before using a jigging rap w red bead and got nothing. I guess i was too far out. Good job on the fish.

I saved 18 most were around 8 inches with 2 puching 10 inches. I have pictures but am out of room on my memory i think i will become a sponsering member tonight so i get more memory space. Talked to Josh today (SomeYahoo) and he was on his way out to the same spot. I think i will head out in the morning.

Stop in at any Rite Aide pharmacy and take your pick of PBR, Bush, the Beast, Natural light, Ice House, Highlife, or Strohs 30packs all for 13$ and some for 12$. It's like this all the time.

Not looking to make it a beer thread but the party store at 7 Mile Beech in Redford has 30 packs of Red Dog for $9.49...I think I'll start a "cheapest beer" thread...;)

Landed eslewhere... got skunked. I should have gone back... silly me.
