Talked to a guy rigged and rolling this morning in Twin Lake at the gas station. Said he was heading to Fremont Lake to continue his perch slam he's enjoyed over the past week. If I had to guess, he wasn't jerking me around. Any of you Fremont folks heard anything???

Lucy..you've got a lot of esplaining to do:mad:

Few guy's I've talked to at the local sport shop have reported nothing great and just the usual dink perch, one guy said maybe one keeper for every 40 caught.....................lots of sorting..............a barely legal walleye thrown in every other trip or so.........

Sounds like the usual sorting on the freek.

'Bout the same info here. A lot of sorting, but have heard reports of some respectable perch being caught. Overall it sounds like the perch size improving, slightly, by year. I also think that there are some 'Honey Spots' out there where you could get into more large vs small fish .... but those locations are closely gaurded secrets (and no I don't know the secret).

If anyone wants to head that way this weekend ... let me know. The girls are gone and I don't have to work .... just can't figure out what to do?:D

If any one goes out in the am and can post ice conditions that would be cool. Was thinking of taking the kids out after my morning nap.
