With the warm weather does anyone think the ice will be safe this weekend for one last hurrah?

Warm weather? I think more ice is being made at this moment. I'm sure you'll even be able to fish pike in the narrows until the season closes.

kcarlson and I are planning on being out there for one last shot. hope to see you out there. Supposed to be a nice day, could actually be out of the shanty most of the time.

I'm not sure when I'm going out. It all depends on if I find someone to go with. I want to get out early to beat the crowd but.....
Do you know what time johnsons bait shop opens? If I go it probaly be at the narrows I dont know where else to go I only fished there twice.

the ice should be fine. was there yesterday in the marina caught some gills mostly small but i did bring home a few.

yeah theres still double digit ice numbers out there...a guy had a truck out on union last night..i think its gonna take more the a few days and light showers to rid the lakes of the ice.
