Craig,
Don't forget the island, they like it when the water warms up a little. Haven't heard anything about Sassy's in a while either. It might be 50 on land, but it won't be out on the lake. Hope it doesn't get windy again either.
Good luck, shoot me a pm if you don't post.

Gonna keep a close eye on the wind direction with the forecasted 15-25 MPH winds, but I'm gonna do Genos tomorrow, should be out there by 10:30 or so...

Also planning on maybe hitting ginos, forcasted high...68:yikes: . Geez, we will be fishing in our t-shirts, however those winds are going to be fierce, SW 15-25, i would also worry about the ice breaking up further out. My spot is only a few hundred feet off shore in about 7-8', so, i should be fine.

Trying to make it out late morning for an hour or two.
All depends on the ice conditions and the wind..........anyone have a report on the ice?
Went out friday for a little over an hour and caught seven at the crack of 11:30. 3 keepers, 8.5", 9" and 11 inches. Plus 2 4" bass.
Don't know how the ice will be..............

Did well behind the Tin Fish yesterday- very clear. Today, very cloudy water with the wind and runoff out about 1/2 mile in around 7 foot of water. A lot of guys out there and they just kept wandering to locate fish. We chainsawed our openings and the ice fell into pieces when we pulled her up. Still a good foot but very honeycombed. There is also a fair current under the ice, hence the poor clarity, which seems to be eroding away at the bottom of the ice quite rapidly. Of course, wet and mushy at the access as well. Good luck out there guys as I think I am done for the year......

Short and sweet, caught close to 200, kept 31 over 8" with the biggest at 10", most of those on you guessed it, a 1" piece of nightcrawler jigged on a teardrop. Minnows produced a few, and minnowheads a few also...7 feet of water 400 yards SE of Ginos...Now it's time to do my Mastercard commericial...
Cost of gas for this trip: $10, cost of bait from that awesome Beachway store: $9...Ice fishing in 70 degree weather, and watching a truck go in 15 feet from shore front end first and then the rest of it an hour later, entertaining us for the rest of the afternoon: priceless...
