The New Puppy, King

Allright now guys, hold your fire...My new duck hunting dog is another German Wirehaired Pointer.

Just like my last dog Otter (http://members.aol.com/forotter/), that I had to put down (http://www.michigan-sportsman.com/forum/showthread.php?t=152192) last Fall, he too was a great duck dog to me.

This new pup is named King Harry, King for short.

The names that didn't make the cut were Spot, Harry, or Diogi (dee-o-gee).

Nice looking pup. Looking at the picture makes me think you should have named him Spot. Lol that single dark marking looks cool.

Nice looking pup. I really like the versatile breeds. One of my hunting partners has a Wire-Haired-Griffon pup coming in 2 weeks, and GWPs look so similar that seeing King gives me an idea what he'll look like. Do you plan to upland hunt with him?
