Emerson Bay/mouth of the Tahquamenon?????

Anybody know how they're doing for whitefish up that way?? It's been about 10 years since I last fished out there but used to start doing good this time of year. Been thinking of making a trip up there to check it out..

you might want to try Torch or Crystal for the whites

we fished Torch and marked plenty of them..only caught 1..first try for them ever

Good Luck! The lovely indian nets have cleaned out that bay:rant: . You might have some luck if ya go on the south side of the bay near some of the small streams inlets. There's about a good 3-5 streams from Bay Mills to where the bay curls north. Gotta check for vehicles and the locals.

I know what you mean about the nets. Talking with the locals around there about the way fishing USED to be is quite depressing. What a shame!:mad: I know what creeks you're referring to also. Used to fish out there quite a bit as well..
