Spider or Boardman by Traverse City

Has anyone fished either of these lakes? What was the results? Any reports would be appreciated.

I fished Spider hard for a week but it was way back around 1990. Lots of lake to explore with all it's little arms. Back then I remember catching some decent bass, but have no idea how it fishes now.

supposed to be pan fish and northerns in there from what I hear.

It's been a very long time, probably 20 years ago now but years ago my dad and I fished Boardmen. He was catching all small walleyes off the back of the boat, and off the front I was catching all perch. Nice perch, I mean big perch. I had several 13" and what is still my personal best 15 1/4" perch. I thought I had an eye on till we put it in the net. FIsahing in the rain that day and vere been back. Always wondered though if there are still big perch in there.

My dad used to fish spider, arbvuttus etc... nice pan fish in there also.

i fish boarman quite often lotta small pike but theres no size limit so theres that and lotta nice perch at the south end and ive heard of walleye but never caught one , but my dad said he used to catch them all the time but not anymore
