Maple Island- Paw Paw

Out at maple island and limited out in about an hour and a half, everyone was tearing the fish up watched 3 guys leave with close to there limit. Gill, crappie and perch are all hitten about 6 ft deep on pink spikes and wigglers gonna be out there a few more times before back up to school. Ice was still about 5-6 inches with about 1-2 inches of waffled ice on top scary to walk on the top layer but still fishable:SHOCKED:

Is most of the fishing taking place on the West side of the island?:fish:

im not sure if its the west side, it the side closest to the dam, off to the right side of the bridge to the island, you should see where everyone was sitting

I have been out on maple lake 2 days in a row and limited out and could have gotten alot more.I have not seen fishing like that in years.One thing I have been wondering has anyone been getting alot of perch I love them fish and around here they seem to be getting harder to find.Any help would be great thankx:fish:

i also fished there friday morning and got my limet in about 1 1/2 hrs and took the kids back after school and they must have cought close to 150 in about 3 hrs the keepers where not huge around 7 1/2 inch or so
