You have any luck with browns? I'll be up in two weeks and am looking to fish the area. Thanks

Jason

Jason really did try hard for browns but it does look like a good spot.I would also try the Jordan if your going to be in the area.

Foersterhunter, sounds like you had a decent outing, but, on a sour note, opening weekend put a wicked hurtin' on the numbers. I'm not talking legit anglers that want to take a limit of fish, I'm talking the dirtbags who snag. The same ones that are there every fall for salmon. I fished a lot last week before the opener and was there today. I saw 3 fish on a redd. Last week there were bunches of fish. For every one decent angler there are 10 raking gravel. I know this is not TSS, but I just had to voice my opinion. J - I know you're coming up from Ohio. Hopefully there will be a few left for ya - shoot me an e-mail. I've got another tip for ya. Ryan

Sturgeonman a day on the water is never a sour outing just wish the fish would have coporated.Sturge i am up in the grayling area every weekend and would like to possibly hook up sometime. As far as the foul liners goes you have to look at it this way.Theres true sportsman and then theres morons.

Foresterhunter - I hope ya don't think I was crappin' on your post. I hear ya, I bad day on the water is better than a good day at work! I was just shedding some light on the fact that the Boyne gets hammered by too many meathunters. It's pretty sad when Bob Linseman and Steve Nevala (Michigan Trout Streams-A Fly Anglers Guide) talk about the snagging that goes on there, and they don't even live up here (well, Oscoda- pretty close). The Boyne is 15 minutes from my house so as you can guess, I fish it quite a bit and have seen the numbers of fish drastically decrease over the years. On a lighter note, heck yea, if you want to hook up and wet a line sometime let me know. Grayling is right down the road. Ryan
P.S. Can't wait for warmer weather, some hatches and some schroomin.
