This Friday is the Flint Safari Club's annual Outfiiters Hunting Expo. It is being held at the Davision Country Club from 1pm to 9pm. I go each year and it is pretty cool to talk to the different outfitters from all over the country and the world. Just wondering if anybody else plans on attending the event this Friday? Thought I would post this incase you guys are looking for something to do this Friday. Here is their website so you can get some more information on it:

Ya, My dad and I booked a hunt with them the first year they donated to Flint SCI. Awsome hunt by the way. I was the one who wrote an article for the Flint SCI newsletter about them a year or two ago.

We went the first week of September. We both took archery tackle along with a rifle. We probably did not see over 30 caribou the whole trip but they were all bulls except for one cow that I saw. They were still in their bachelor groups and not really migrating yet. We heard radio reports that the camp north of us was right in the middle of the migration seeing thousands of animals in a single day. I was able to take one with my bow and one with a gun but we had to work for them. My dad took both of his with a gun and the last one on the final day of the hunt. Everybody in our camp limited out and some took very nice animals (b & c). We did not fish at all but some of the other guys did and they caught some lake trout. I am not sure though I think the fishing season might be closed while your there.
I am not sure what table I am at but will be helping at the gun boards in the back. Let me know what table your at and I will try to stop by if I get done early from selling spots on the boards. By the way my name is Brian
