Rabbit hunt of a life time

A few buddies and I (7 in all w/one being my 10 year old son) spent the afternoon chasing bunnies on Saturday. We needed quite a few for a rabbit stew we are putting together for a wild game dinner. We thought it may be too late in the season to be able to get enough. Oh how wrong we were. By the end of the day we had a total of 22 Rabbits. Truely amazing that we saw so many. I have never seen anything like it, probably will never again

myself and one buddy limited out yesterday morning on bunnies in 25 min. The fastest shooting ever for me. No dogs.:yikes:

A friend and I also were out yesterday with his 10 and 14 yr old boys. Shot 11 behind our hounds and the boys missed another 4. What a great day.

I was out with the hounds yesterday and everything holed up within 30 seconds of the dog opening.But i have all week since we are slow at work so hope to post some good pics this week.

Same thing here. Seems like since we got all this snow the rabbits run straight for the hole. Out of the last 30 rabbits the dogs have opened up on only 2 have been circled. I think the dogs are becoming more frustrated than me.

Had a good hunt yesterday afternoon finally.Hounds had a blast. Hope this picture comes up first time i have tried to post with pictures.
