New carpet in boat...

Im putting new floors in my job boat. What is the best type of carpet to get for the price? I want to line everything with some good looking carpet with out spending a fortune. Thanks!

Most of the carpet out there today is all synthetic(sp?) So most of it can be used in outdoor applications. What you want to look for is something that is made out of olefin , nylon, or a blend of other synthetic materials. But remember the sun is very powerful and can or will cause fading and breaking down of almost anything. The other thing is what kind of adhesive you use. You will definatley want something that is waterproof when it's dry. Most stores that carry carpet will also carry the correct adhesives.
