Three boats, three seperate stretches of the river, all above Chase!
Crappy weather, just to cold to think it was the trout opener. Group ended the day with three pike and 11 trout, all on rapalas. Two pike were keepers, the trout were 10-15 inches, and my boat lost a 18-20 inch hog. Actually was slow for our stretch of the river, where one boat had six fish in the first three hours in another stretch. Pretty much done by 3:00pm as the weather turned into winter!
Very few fisherman and nobody saw any kids fishing at all from pretty much the entire south branch above Chase. Thats a big problem folks. And some want more special regs-for who!?!
