tranducer mount on pontoon boat

does anyone use a fish finder on a pontoon boat if so how is is mounted,
just bought 24 ft trying to put fish finder on it but cant mount to the tubes

any ideals

Most newer boats have a mounting box attached to the end of the log. I did have an older one, that had no easy way. There was a lifting eye sticking straight out the end of the tube. I used two pieces of 2 X 4 with a long bolt thru both and sandwiched the lifting eye between them. That gave me the wood to screw the transducer into. Can you post a picture of what the end of the tube looks like?

The last one i had seen was a pole made out of aluminum coming off the back by the motor. All custom made.
